Can money make you happy?

A simple fact that is hard to learn is that the time to save money is when you have some.

—Joe Moore

What does happiness mean to you?can money make you happy?

Aristotle said- “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.”

So what is the dictionary meaning of happiness?

Well, there is an array of meanings listed in the dictionary. Some of them are contentment, pleasure, satisfaction, cheerfulness, cheeriness, merriment, happiness, joy, jollity, jolliness, glee, blitheness, gladness, delight, good spirits, high spirits, light- heartedness, good cheer, well-being, enjoyment, felicity, etc. We all have been using some or the other word to express our happiness.

However, the top searches for the meaning return four words: Emotions, Measure, Pain and Ecstasy.

So, how can you become happy?

Do you need unlimited resources to feel enriched with happiness?

what is happiness There is one thing that most of us run behind, which we feel can give us supreme happiness. And that is Excellence. We think that if we can become an expert in everything we do, it can open the doors to unlimited resources and hence limitless happiness. Aristotle said: We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

Lets find out what makes you most happy

Write down the top five things that bring you happiness:

Now I would request you to introspect and analyse if these things give you happiness. Many people think that buying a bigger house or a sedan car can provide them with happiness. For the entire life, they work in the shoes of a donkey to fulfil such dreams. Moreover, when they buy, for instance, a bigger house, happiness is short-lived. It all of a sudden vanishes, when they notice their colleague purchasing a house that has an extra room. Isn’t this how fickle happiness is to us most of the time?

Aristotle believed that happiness could be acquired by understanding the precise function of a thing so one can understand its essence.

The Purpose of Life Is Not Happiness: It’s Usefulness. For a long time, I believed that there is only one purpose in life, and that is to be happy. If you look around, most people are pursuing happiness in their lives. Some are running after happiness like a wild goose chase.

Your journey of life is an experience. These are the experiences that are full of learnings, and these are your real treasures. These are the treasure of love, affection, joy and happiness.

Make a list of the top ten things that have brought you extreme joy and happiness in your life till now:

Now look back! These ten experiences are the sum of your feelings about your definition of happiness.

Treasure them!

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. Albert Schweitzer

Furthermore, while trying to share with you the actual definition of pleasure, I would like to share this quote, which has a deep meaning. Pleasure is not a luxury! But a profound psychological need.– said Nathaniel Branden. So, wealth is the price of success!

Question: What meaning you give to what pleases you, is the true statement of, how Money can make you Happy.

So, the currency of happiness is not Rupees or Dollars! The ultimate currency is not money!

Question: Money can perhaps bring you fame, but that is subordinate to happiness! You should be able to convert that money into something which brings you happiness. Wealth and happiness may not have a direct correlation! Psychologists have confirmed that it is only 20% of Iq and 80% of Eq that is responsible for your happiness and success. So Iq has not much to do to help you in succeeding. However, how emotionally strong you are, is what drives the H-factor in your life.

So, happiness is not a luxury!
